Ecuador 500kV Project has obtained the final handover certificate

As the first national 500kV backbone power transmission and transformation project in Ecuador, and the first power transmission and transformation general contract project signed by Harbin Electric Group International And Ecuadorian National Electric Company (CELEC EP), the Ecuadorian 500kV ultrahigh voltage power transmission and transformation project took effect in 2013 and completed the overall temporary transfer on November 22, 2019. The project has seven sub-systems with a total length of 900km, including a 600km 500kV transmission line and a 300km 230kV transmission line, as well as four new 500kV substations, two new 230kV substations, one 230kV expansion substation, and four 230kV revamped substations. D subsystem includes 83KM230kV line from SAN RAFAEL to JIVINO, 500kV substation from SAN RAFAEL and 230kV substation from JIVINO.
